Knock, Knock. Who's There?

Northamptonshire County Council's trading standards service is asking
residents to contact them about door-to-door charity clothing collections
that may not be what they seem.

Trading standards have received reports from local residents about
door-to-door clothing collections which lead the householder to believe they
are supporting a charity. It can be difficult to know whether the
collection is charitable or commercial and it can be that the impression of
charity is being used by unscrupulous collectors in order to obtain goods.
